Infuse your new year with holistic health, one month at a time.
Need suggestions?
For January, I have some favorites: Quote of the Day Show, Highest Self Podcast, Mindset Coach (this is my all time fave), How I Built This, Unf*ck Your Brain, Manifestation Babe, The Spiritually Sassy Show. I'm a big fan of podcasts.
February - maybe it's just one day per week or maybe you set specific hours (not while you're sleeping, no cheating).
March - this one is easy & you'll notice a difference. You've been asleep so replenishing your body first thing uplifts you.
April - there are SO many ways to educate yourself - Centre of Excellence, Udemy, Skillshare, there are so many & they're usually low cost. Ellevest has ways to set & help you achieve wealth goals. I've been with them for years! And, they always have workshops for members to help you with building wealth, understanding loans, budgeting, you name it. What I love? It's geared specifically to women.
May - this is all you. Find some time to reconnect with nature. Go to a new spot or a spot you haven't been to in awhile. Go daily. Fully immerse yourself.
June - I'm a HUGE non-fiction fan. Whether it's self help, history or science, there's a book out there just for you. Visit your library to check one out or maybe see if it's on YouTube. Two good ones on YouTube - "The 4 Agreements" & "Becoming Supernatural".
July - mix it up. Don't do the same thing every day. Do something that you know will lift you up, even if its a simple one - line poem or journal entry.
August - this is a good way to include fiber in each meal. If this is something you already do, change the portion size or maybe focus on eating more whole foods.
September - head over to meetup.com or find a Facebook group for a hobby you enjoy & join a group - gardening, hiking, baking, whatever strikes your fancy.
October - instead of doing an all or nothing approach to quitting something, try just reducing something you know is unhealthy. When setting a goal, consider the quantity. For example, if you're a daily alcohol drinker, reduce the amount of alcohol to a certain portion size. Stick to that all month long.
November - finding a new way to move is always one of my favorite things. You never know when you'll find something new to love. Check out what's around you or head over to YouTube.
December - big one! This is already a big time to slow down, so honor your body's rhythm by allowing focus on one particular thing at a time. It's amazing what you can accomplish with undivided attention.
Thank you so much for being here. Please let me know how I can help or what questions you have.
Much love,
Nasreen 'Nikki' xx
